The organisation is seeking an experienced Fortinet Network Consultant to support an enterprise network environment built around Fortinet SD-WAN, VRFs, and advanced routing technologies. The successful consultant will join an active project supporting a complex hub-and-spoke architecture and will work primarily remotely, with occasional site visits if required.

Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot a live Fortinet SD-WAN deployment.
- Configure and maintain VRFs within a multi-tenant network environment.
- Manage and troubleshoot VPNv4 BGP routing.
- Support an active solution comprising 4 OSPF peerings across hub locations.
- Perform advanced routing analysis, optimisation, and fault resolution.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver network improvements and operational support.
- Produce technical documentation where required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet enterprise networking solutions.
- NSE 7 certification or higher (or equivalent expert-level Fortinet experience).
- FCSS in SD-WAN certification or demonstrable expertise.
- Strong practical experience implementing and supporting VRFs on Fortinet platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- BGP (including VPNv4)
- OSPF
- SD-WAN
- Enterprise routing and switching
- Experience supporting complex hub-and-spoke network topologies.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- NPPV3 Active clearance, or eligibility to obtain it.
- Previous experience working within secure or government environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
Working Arrangements:
- Primarily remote engagement.
- Occasional travel to customer sites may be required, although regular onsite attendance is not expected.
- Initial 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension through to February next year.
Salary:
- £400-£500 Per Day
