Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain features for the Lima platform.
- Develop secure and maintainable applications using C#, .NET and Microsoft technologies.
- Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Develop supporting applications, services and internal tools.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve development quality and productivity.
- Apply AI-assisted development across design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for security, quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews and testing.
- Work closely with product and technical leadership to deliver new functionality.
- Troubleshoot software defects and customer issues.
- Contribute to coding standards, reusable components and engineering best practices.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues in the effective use of AI technologies.
- Maintain technical and API documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
Skills/Must Have:
- Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong C# and .NET development experience.
- Experience with ASP.NET and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong SQL Server experience.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of API authentication, authorisation, validation and security.
- Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Commercial experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
- Experience applying AI to coding, testing, debugging or documentation.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code.
- Strong understanding of secure software development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills:
- GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise experience.
- Experience integrating AI or LLMs into software applications.
- OpenAPI/Swagger experience.
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience.
- WPF experience.
- DevExpress experience.
- Test Driven Development experience.
- Azure AI Services or Microsoft AI experience.
- Experience in digital forensics, investigations or case management environments.
