Join one of the world’s largest and most important internet exchanges, providing mission-critical connectivity infrastructure to hundreds of global network operators, ISPs, and carriers. 

 As Head of Platform Operations, you will lead and integrate the NOC, Systems Engineering, and Field Engineering teams within the RUN domain – ensuring 24/7 service continuity, disciplined incident management, and continuous optimisation of the live platform.

 This is a high-impact leadership role with a mandate to modernise operational execution through AI-driven ticket handling, predictive monitoring, automation-first practices, and data-driven performance management – all within an ISO 27001-certified Critical Infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end platform availability, resilience, and 24/7 service continuity for all customer-facing infrastructure.
  • Lead and develop the NOC, Systems Engineering, and Field Engineering teams, driving a culture of accountability and operational discipline.
  • Own the global incident management framework, driving reduction in MTTR, MTTD, and incident recurrence through structured Root Cause Analysis.
  • Govern production change execution, ensuring controlled, risk-managed implementation with full rollback planning and post-implementation validation.
  • Drive automation-first operational workflows and introduce AI-based ticket classification.

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 8+ years’ experience in network operations, systems engineering, or carrier-grade environments, ideally within an Internet exchange, ISP or large-scale global network
  • Proven leadership of international technical teams with strong people development and performance management skills.
  • Deep understanding of IP networking, routing, peering, and high-availability carrier-grade infrastructure operations
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, Critical Infrastructure compliance, and strong experience with incident, problem, and change management 
  • Experience with automation and AI-enabled operational tooling; strong reporting, analytics, budgeting, and capacity planning skills.
