The organisation is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, contracting, and execution oversight across their data centre platform, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone ready to step into a top procurement position within a well-established, tight-knit local market.

This is a CFO-facing leadership role with genuine ownership over procurement strategy spanning Pre-Development through Operations, a chance to build scalable, resilient governance from the ground up on a growing data centre platform, while playing a central bridging role across the company's parallel developments in Frankfurt's data centre ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and own the company-wide equipment procurement strategy aligned with design, commissioning, and sustainability standards.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, contract negotiation, and execution for critical infrastructure systems (UPS, MV/LV switchgear, generators, chillers, CRAHs, BMS, fire protection, security infrastructure, prefabricated plant modules).
• Establish strategic vendor framework agreements and maintain a preferred vendor register.
• Oversee FAT/SAT planning and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams on delivery timelines and technical specifications.
• Secure maintenance/service agreements for all procured equipment and construction services.
• Track warranties, SLAs, and vendor performance across the project lifecycle.
• Work closely alongside existing procurement leadership, reporting directly to the CFO.

Skills/Must have:

• 10+ years in equipment procurement, supply chain, or vendor management within data center, power, or industrial infrastructure.
• Prior senior procurement leadership at a DC Developer or Operator.
• Experience across Pre-Development, Pre-Construction, and Operational phases.
• Proven contract negotiation and end-to-end equipment lifecycle management.
• Strong technical grasp of mission-critical systems and mechanical/electrical compliance.
• Commercially astute, cost, lead time, risk, value engineering.
• German fluent.

Salary:

• €200,000 Per Year (Depending on experience)
