HPC Operations Engineer - Banking & Finance

As part of the HPC Operations team, you'll support large-scale Linux infrastructure within a high-performance production environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining the stability and performance of critical compute platforms, combining hands-on troubleshooting with automation and continuous improvement to ensure highly available operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain large-scale Linux infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents.
• Monitor platform health and respond to alerts.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Skills/Must Have:

• Linux systems administration or operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Python, Bash, Go or similar scripting experience.
• Experience supporting production infrastructure.
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools.
• Exposure to HPC technologies such as Slurm, Lustre or GPFS is advantageous.
