IAM PM - Banking & Finance

This consultancy has partnered with a highly regulated banking organisation and is seeking a Senior IAM Cyber Technical Delivery Manager for a 6-month contract based in London. The role involves leading Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management transformation programmes, driving identity modernisation, access governance, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with security, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and third-party teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust programmes within a regulated banking environment, aligned to enterprise security strategy and regulatory expectations.
• Drive key initiatives including Unstructured Data Access Governance, Audit & Regulatory Remediation, and Enterprise Password & Authentication Modernisation.
• Oversee integration of identity systems including Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud platforms, ensuring secure interoperability and least-privilege principles across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit frameworks including PRA/FCA expectations, SOX controls, and internal audit findings, including delivery of PKI and Certificate Authority solutions.
• Produce and present executive-level reporting on KPIs, KRIs, risk posture, and programme health to senior stakeholders, risk committees, and governance forums.

Skills/Must Have:

• IAM & PAM delivery expertise- Proven track record delivering IAM, PAM, or Zero Trust programmes within banking or financial services, including CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust in regulated environments.
• Microsoft identity stack- Strong hands-on expertise across Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and passwordless authentication in complex hybrid environments.
• Identity governance & access controls- Experience implementing IGA, access certification, RBAC/ABAC models, and Zero Trust principles including least privilege and segregation of duties.
• Regulatory & compliance knowledge- Deep understanding of banking regulatory frameworks including FCA/PRA expectations, SOX ITGC controls, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Senior programme leadership- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams, manage risk and dependency frameworks, and operate within Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models; PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agilist certification preferred.
