Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex server hardware and firmware faults.
• Investigate root causes and implement long-term hardware solutions and workarounds.
• Act as the technical escalation point for L1 and L2 Data Center Technicians.
• Manage vendor warranty replacements and the end-to-end RMA process.
• Work closely with infrastructure engineers, vendors and internal teams to improve hardware reliability.
• Create technical documentation, improve support procedures and contribute to team training.
• Skills / Must Have
• Strong experience supporting enterprise server hardware in a data centre environment.
• Deep knowledge of server architecture, hardware diagnostics and firmware troubleshooting.
• Linux/Unix command line experience.
• Experience with hardware monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis.
• Experience managing vendor RMAs and hardware lifecycle processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Component-level electronics repair (SMD).
• Knowledge of networking hardware and troubleshooting.
