Reporting into the IT function, the successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of a hybrid server environment while playing an active role in infrastructure development projects. Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise a hybrid server environment (Windows and Linux).
- Develop and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Monitor and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and enforce security and compliance policies.
- Contribute to IT projects, technology rollouts, and the automation of recurring processes.
- Ensure stable application operations, resolve complex IT incidents, and manage external service providers.
- Maintain and structure system and operational documentation.
- Support adherence to data protection and ISO-related requirements.
Skills/Must have:
- Completed IT qualification, degree, or equivalent experience in a comparable role.
- Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in system administration and full IT infrastructure operations.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Structured, solution-focused approach with a strong service mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in German, both written and spoken.
