Reporting into the IT function, the successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of a hybrid server environment while playing an active role in infrastructure development projects. The role will involve working closely with technical teams and external service providers to ensure high availability, security compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and optimise a hybrid server environment (Windows and Linux).
• Develop and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Monitor and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and enforce security and compliance policies.
• Contribute to IT projects, technology rollouts, and the automation of recurring processes.
• Ensure stable application operations, resolve complex IT incidents, and manage external service providers.
• Maintain and structure system and operational documentation.
• Support adherence to data protection and ISO-related requirements.

Skills/Must have:

• Completed IT qualification, degree, or equivalent experience in a comparable role.
• Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in system administration and full IT infrastructure operations.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Structured, solution-focused approach with a strong service mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in German, both written and spoken.
