The company is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join its technical team, designing, deploying, and supporting internal and customer infrastructure across public cloud, virtualisation, bare-metal servers, Linux, networking, and enterprise systems. This is a hands-on role involving end-to-end project ownership from design through implementation, as well as acting as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and maintain hybrid IT infrastructure
• Build and administer AWS, Azure and GCP environments
• Deploy VMware, KVM and Hyper-V virtualization
• Configure Linux environments including RedHat, Rocky and Ubuntu
• Build and configure Dell, HP and Lenovo servers
• Lead small to medium infrastructure projects
• Provide Tier 2/3 infrastructure support
• Support hybrid networking and infrastructure connectivity
• Install and support infrastructure software applications
• Work directly with vendors and customer technical teams
• Research and recommend new infrastructure technologies

Skills/Must Have:

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience
• Strong AWS, Azure and/or GCP expertise
• Strong VMware, KVM and/or Hyper-V experience
• Hands-on bare-metal server administration
• Strong Linux administration experience
• Working knowledge of LAN, switching and routing
• Advanced infrastructure certification such as VCP, RHCSA, Microsoft or equivalent

Desirable Skills:

• Kubernetes and Docker
• Firewalls, routing and switching
• SAN / enterprise storage technologies
