Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Execution: Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project. Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Strategic Planning: Under the direction of leadership, plans project and service execution to meet required revenue generation and resource utilization goals.
  • Resource & Interdepartmental Collaboration: Works closely with interdepartmental leadership within a "shared resources" model to resource projects. Dynamically leverages both service desk technicians for baseline deployment needs and technical consultants for highly specialized technical requirements or bandwidth-related constraints.
  • Communication & Reporting: Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Compliance & Culture: Models the behaviors expected of all Xceptional employees by cultivating a positive work environment, prioritizing manageable goals, maintaining high ethical standards, and ensuring all duties are performed in a safe manner.
  • Other Duties: Performs all other related duties, as assigned.


Skills/Must Have:

  • New deployment or refresh of existing network equipment (route, switch, wireless)
  • Network and systems assessment and design
  • Physical to virtual (P2V) migration
  • Storage (NAS) deployment and upgrade
  • Azure AD migration
  • Endpoint detection and response (EDR) implementation
  • Email platform migration (Exchange and Google)
  • Workstation refresh
  • Technical Competency & Computer Skills
  • Working knowledge or proficiency with the following technologies and applications:
    • Cisco IOS/NX-OS and wireless
    • Meraki wireless, switching, and security
    • VMware vSphere
    • Active Directory / Azure AD
    • Network and Endpoint security
    • Network storage (NAS)
    • Microsoft Office Suite or related software
