Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design of electrical systems for mission critical and data center projects.
- Support the development of power distribution layouts, single-line diagrams and electrical construction documents.
- Perform electrical calculations, load studies and equipment selections under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist with the design of medium and low voltage power systems, UPS systems, generators and mission critical infrastructure.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural and technology teams to support integrated project delivery.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Support construction administration by reviewing RFIs, submittals and conducting occasional site visits.
- Assist with commissioning activities and project close-out documentation.
- Maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA and company engineering standards.
- Continue developing technical knowledge through mentorship and structured training.
Skills/Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0–3 years' experience within an engineering consultancy, internship or electrical design environment.
- Interest in mission critical, data center or power system design.
- Basic understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
- Experience with or exposure to Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn within a collaborative team.
- EIT certification or actively working towards obtaining it is preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
