Responsibilities:

• Optimize kernel-level execution for Apple Silicon, squeezing maximum performance from the underlying hardware
• Develop and tune compute kernels for AI and agentic workloads across our infrastructure
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks at the hardware-software boundary
• Collaborate with networking and runtime engineers to ensure execution is optimized end-to-end across chips

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong background in kernel engineering, low-level systems programming, or hardware-aware software development
• Experience optimizing compute workloads on specialized hardware, Apple Silicon experience is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with GPU/NPU compute models, unified memory architectures, or similar
• Ability to work close to the metal, comfortable reading hardware documentation, profiling tools, and micro-benchmarking
• Nice to have: experience in ML infrastructure, HPC, or compiler/runtime engineering

Salary:

• $250,000 Base Salary
