Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade and decommission server and network hardware.
• Diagnose and repair server, storage and networking hardware faults.
• Manage fibre optic cabling, patching and structured cabling throughout the data centre.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacements and RMA management.
• Monitor critical infrastructure during day and night shift rotations.
• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve operational issues and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Skills/Must Have:

• Experience supporting enterprise server hardware within a data centre environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking hardware, switches and structured fibre cabling.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and break/fix experience.
• Experience with hardware installations, rack and stack and equipment lifecycle management.
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Linux command line experience is beneficial.
