This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Level 3 Voice Operations Engineer looking to support a global enterprise voice environment. The role combines BAU support with project delivery, working across the full voice infrastructure to troubleshoot complex issues, deliver upgrades and lifecycle initiatives, and ensure a stable, high-performing voice platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for enterprise voice infrastructure and services.
  • Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve complex voice-related incidents.
  • Support voice operations projects, upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Work closely with global operations and engineering teams.
  • Support end users and back-end voice infrastructure through to carrier connectivity.
  • Produce technical documentation and operational handover documentation.
  • Manage incidents, problems and changes in line with ITIL best practice.
  • Update and manage tickets within ServiceNow.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders during projects and major incidents.
  • Participate in planned weekend work when required.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) 12.x+.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IP Phones, Cisco Jabber and Jabber Mobile.
  • Excellent understanding of voice technologies including SIP, MGCP, ISDN, session management and call routing.
  • Experience administering Avaya System Manager and Session Manager.
  • At least 5 years' experience supporting enterprise voice and data environments.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • CCNP Collaboration-level knowledge (certification not essential).

  • Cisco UCCX
  • IPC / Private Wire environments
  • IPC Unigy Trading System
  • NICE Voice Recording


Contract Details:

  • Glasgow (Minimum 2 Days Onsite)
  • 9-Month Contract
