This position involves the planning, configuration, and optimisation of Labware 8 systems, with a focus on system reliability, performance, and compliance alignment. Solid experience with Labware 8, database structures, and system interconnectivity is essential, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve technical problems within Labware infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining system performance and reliability.
  • Use diagnostic tools and system logs to identify root causes of application errors or malfunctions, and apply targeted fixes to restore optimal functionality.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize Labware configurations and processes by suggesting new approaches that enhance efficiency, usability, and scalability.
  • Assess system architecture and configurations to spot weaknesses or inefficiencies, and communicate detailed, constructive feedback to technical teams for design enhancements.
  • Translate complex technical information into understandable terms for diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and collaboration across engineering, QA, IT, and business teams.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the Labware 8 platform and infrastructure (DB, app servers, J2EE, VDI).
  • Strong understanding of Labware system architecture and interconnectivity.
  • Familiarity with Labware roles and system components.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, particularly in a Labware context.
  • Proficient in installing and configuring Labware components, modules, and packages.
