This company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in supporting customers as they refactor, replatform, and rehost mission-critical systems into AWS and hybrid cloud environments, contributing to national security programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement AWS and hybrid cloud solutions aligned to customer requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable, secure infrastructure architectures
• Administer and optimise Linux and Windows-based systems in enterprise environments
• Design and troubleshoot IP networking including AWS networking and hybrid connectivity
• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes using IaC and configuration management tooling
• Contribute to continuous improvement through DevSecOps practices

Skills/Must Have:

• AWS certification at Associate level with hands-on cloud delivery experience
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration in large-scale environments
• Solid IPv4 networking knowledge including subnetting, routing (OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs
• Automation experience using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python
• Proven experience in IT systems design, deployment, and administration including leadership responsibilities
• Must hold or be eligible for highest level of UK Government security clearance (British national required)

Salary:

• £68,000 – £102,000
