This company is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead complex estimating activities across large-scale hyperscale, colocation, industrial, and mission-critical projects. The role involves managing the full preconstruction process, from take-offs through to bid hand-off, while collaborating with engineers, project managers, vendors, customers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical cost estimates from take-off stage through to bid hand-off
  • Develop and manage estimates for change orders
  • Analyze material, labor, and equipment requirements for projects
  • Prepare, compute, and submit project bids
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and scope review meetings
  • Coordinate and organize estimating team activities
  • Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Maintain organized and standardized change order documentation
  • Analyze project risks and cost exposures


Skills/Must Have:

  • Experience working for an electrical contractor is strongly preferred
  • Strong background in electrical estimating on large-scale construction projects
  • Data center / mission critical experience highly desirable
  • Experience coordinating or leading estimating teams
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
  • Strong understanding of labor, material, procurement, and subcontractor pricing
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
