The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer III to support mechanical engineering activities across current and future site development, covering the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of High Performance Computing (HPC) data centres. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the role offers a hands-on opportunity to work directly on the cooling systems behind cutting-edge HPC infrastructure, with technical ownership and exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the mechanical SME for cooling systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping and controls) across design, construction, commissioning and operations of HPC data centers
- Review and validate specifications, calculations, drawings and other technical deliverables from consultants, manufacturers, engineering firms and commissioning agents
- Perform technical analyses, including calculations, simulations, CFD and thermal analysis, to optimize liquid and air cooling and airflow
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions
- Support project planning, including schedules, budgets and resourcing, coordinating with site teams, corporate staff and external engineering partners
- Lead or support construction, installation and commissioning activities, and monitor mechanical system performance to maintain reliability and drive energy-efficient improvements
Skills/Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 5+ years' experience in data center and/or mission-critical facilities design, construction or operations
- Experience with energy and HVAC load calculation software, plus computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other relevant design tools
- High level of knowledge of ASHRAE, ASPE, IPC and IECC codes/standards relevant to data centers and mission-critical facilities
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and solutions
- Strong communication skills across all levels; self-driven and comfortable with uncertainty and limited direction
