Looking for a role with plenty of growth opportunities?
Join a fast-growing infrastructure software company backed by a top-tier venture firm, having delivered 800% ARR growth over the past 12 months. The organization has built the leading network automation platform for AI clouds, with 35+ live GPU cluster deployments globally, sitting at the centre of one of the biggest bottlenecks in the largest infrastructure buildout in history.
A newly created opportunity exists for a Senior Solutions Architect to bridge the technical and commercial sides of the business, engaging directly with enterprise customers at senior levels on Cumulus Linux and open networking architectures. The ideal candidate will lead technical discovery and design sessions, translating business objectives into resilient EVPN/VXLAN fabrics and BGP unnumbered designs, while also acting as the voice of the customer to influence product roadmap priorities. This role blends deep technical credibility with strong executive communication skills across both enterprise and AI infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:
- You will be serving as the trusted technical advisor to enterprise and AI factory customers, engaging directly with network, infrastructure, DevOps, and business stakeholders on Cumulus-based and open networking architectures
- You will be leading deep technical discovery and design sessions that translate customer business objectives into resilient and scalable network architectures built on Cumulus Linux, including EVPN/VXLAN fabrics, BGP unnumbered designs, and multi-tenant deployments
- You will be designing and validating high-scale datacentre fabrics leveraging Cumulus Linux on commodity switching hardware, ensuring correctness, determinism, and operational repeatability
- You will be presenting complex Cumulus and open networking strategies clearly to both technical teams and executive audiences
- You will be acting as the voice of the customer internally, partnering with Product Management and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on real-world Cumulus deployment experience
- You will be supporting proofs-of-concept, integration validation, and architecture reviews across Cumulus-based environments to ensure solutions deliver cloud-provider-grade automation, abstraction, and hard multi-tenancy for AI infrastructure
- You will be working cross-functionally with Sales and Services teams to develop tailored proposals and articulate the value of open networking and Cumulus-based approaches in enterprise engagements
Skills / Must Have:
- 8+ years in network engineering, solution architecture, or senior consulting roles with significant customer-facing experience

- Strong understanding of open networking principles and commodity switching hardware running Cumulus Linux or similar NOS platforms
- Proven ability to align business goals with technical architecture built on open networking, not just execute technical tasks
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills in enterprise or large public sector environments
- Experience partnering with Product Management to translate field feedback into product requirements
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with NVIDIA Air, NetQ, or other Cumulus ecosystem tooling
- Background integrating Cumulus-based fabrics across complex environments including InfiniBand, DPUs, and multi-cloud or on-premises deployments
- Exposure to network automation tooling including Ansible, Terraform, or NCLU/NVUE scripting in Cumulus environments
- Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU cloud networking, or multi-tenant deployments on open networking platforms
- Familiarity with other NOS platforms such as SONiC or FRR alongside Cumulus depth
Benefits:
- Competitive salary with stock options
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Flexible PTO
- Santa Clara, CA preferred, with remote considered for exceptional candidates
