Ready to take the next step in your career?

Join a fast-growing infrastructure software company backed by a top-tier venture firm, having delivered 800% ARR growth over the past 12 months. The organization has built the leading network automation platform for AI clouds, with 35+ live GPU cluster deployments globally, sitting at the center of one of the biggest bottlenecks in the largest infrastructure buildout in history.

The organization is inviting applications from experienced professionals for the role of Senior Juniper Network Engineer, ideal for someone with deep, expert-level Junos experience. The ideal candidate will design and evolve EVPN/VXLAN data centre fabrics on Juniper QFX and EX platforms, troubleshoot complex BGP EVPN and VXLAN issues at the control and data plane, and contribute to network automation using tools like PyEZ, Ansible, or Terraform. This is a hands-on, technically demanding role within a senior engineering team.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be designing, implementing, and evolving EVPN/VXLAN data center fabrics on Juniper QFX and EX platforms across L2/L3, symmetric/asymmetric IRB, multi-VRF, and multi-tenant architectures
  • You will be performing deep troubleshooting across control plane and data plane, spanning BGP EVPN, VXLAN, Junos forwarding behaviour, and ASIC-level packet flow
  • You will be architecting and validating high-scale data center network designs on Juniper hardware and reviewing configurations with a strong emphasis on accuracy, determinism, and failure handling
  • You will be working across Junos routing instances, VRFs, IRB interfaces, and policy frameworks at expert level
  • You will be working with BGP across EVPN, route-targets, policy, and scale considerations in large Juniper-based fabrics
  • You will be collaborating with engineering, automation, and operations teams to build reliable and repeatable network solutions, including Junos automation via PyEZ, Ansible, or Terraform
  • You will be contributing Linux networking knowledge alongside your Juniper depth, across kernel behaviour, iproute2, and packet flow tooling

Skills / Must Have:

  • Deep hands-on Juniper experience, JNCIE level knowledge strongly preferred, certification optional but the skills are mandatory
  • Proven experience designing and operating EVPN/VXLAN datacentre fabrics in production on Juniper QFX or EX platforms
  • Strong BGP expertise including EVPN, route-targets, policy, and scale in Juniper environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues at packet level using tcpdump, Junos monitoring tools, and traffic analysis
  • Solid understanding of Juniper ASIC behaviour and forwarding architecture
  • Fluent English, spoken and written

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Junos automation tooling including PyEZ, JSNAPy, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible for network automation in Juniper environments
  • Background in GPU, AI, or high-throughput datacentre environments
  • Exposure to Cumulus Linux or other network operating systems alongside Junos

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with stock options
  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • 401(k) and disability insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Hybrid working with an established engineering presence across the United States, Armenia, Taiwan, India, and Australia, with exceptional candidates considered in other locations

Salary:

  • $250,000 base salary
