The company is seeking for a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to support and improve FTTH and fixed wireless network operations within a growing ISP environment. The role involves optimising network performance, integrating new technologies, and supporting critical infrastructure as part of a hands-on engineering team, including participation in an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, and transmission protocols into complete network configurations.
  • Evaluate new products and perform network problem resolution.
  • Assist in developing and documenting technical standards and corporate policies.
  • Design and implement network enhancements and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects involving network planning, configuration, and optimization.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure maximum system availability and reliability.
  • Proactively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Configure and manage MikroTik RouterOS v6 and v7 devices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation for operational teams.
  • Support and maintain service provider wireless P2P and M2P links from vendors such as Cambium, Siklu, Integra/SAF, and Tarana.
  • Perform field replacements and upgrades of MikroTik devices as needed.
  • Administer systems and servers related to network availability for authorized users.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software to resolve operational issues and restore services.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Minimum of 8 years of network engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with MikroTik devices.
  • Networking-related credentials (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, MTCNA, Network+) are a plus.
  • Experience with VLANs, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of wireless LAN security, PPPoE, MIMO, QoS prioritization, and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in network design software, such as Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Experience in FTTH network design and implementation is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong ability to learn independently.
