The company is looking for an experienced Network Consultant to support a challenging workload at its Penzberg campus, one of its key European locations. The role will involve supporting the corporate campus network, manufacturing areas, and data centre infrastructure, providing critical network expertise to meet high demand across the site.

Responsibilities:
- Support network infrastructure needs in Penzberg, covering the corporate campus network, manufacturing areas, and the data center.
- Conduct business needs analysis and translate requirements into solution designs aligned with the client's engineering standards.
- Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, implementation (including procurement management), equipment installation, configuration, and commissioning.
- Produce clear technical documentation and manage handoff to Operations teams.
- Manage the ongoing lifecycle of installed infrastructure.
- Provide local support for incident resolution.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in the design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN network infrastructure across campus and data center environments, including:
- Routers and switches
- Wireless access points
- MDFs and IDFs
- Structured cabling
- Power distribution and cooling systems
- Strong working knowledge of BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and NSWAC.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista solutions (both currently in use by the client).
- Proactive, self-motivated profile with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal client teams (Connectivity, Security, Facilities, etc.) and external partners.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- On-call duty is currently out of scope but may be required in the future as part of a 24/7 local support service.
- A pool of hours must be factored in for scheduled maintenance work conducted outside regular business hours.
Location & Working Pattern:
- Contract / Partner-supplied consultant
- Located in Penzberg, Germany
- Initial duration of at least 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
- Start date Q4 2026, ideally early-to-mid October.
- Hybrid model requiring approximately 40% on-site presence at the Penzberg site (average of 2 days per week).
