The ideal candidate will bring a strong grounding in enterprise and data centre networking, working alongside experienced senior and principal engineers on major projects spanning cloud transformation, data centre deployments, and low-latency infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Support and engineer enterprise and data centre network infrastructure
• Configure and manage Arista networking environments
• Work with Arista CloudVision for network deployment and management
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall and connectivity issues
• Support load balancers, DNS and CDN infrastructure
• Participate in network implementation and upgrade projects
• Support highly available production network environments
• Assist with upcoming public cloud networking initiatives
• Contribute to automation and improvements to network operations
• Work alongside senior engineers on data centre and low-latency projects

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong Network Engineering experience within enterprise or data centre environments
• Good routing and switching knowledge
• Hands-on Arista experience
• Experience with Arista CloudVision, or strong exposure to modern network management platforms
• Firewall experience
• Understanding of load balancing technologies
• Good knowledge of DNS
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• Experience supporting production network environments

Desirable Skills:

• F5 load balancing
• Akamai / CDN exposure
• Financial Services or FinTech experience
• Public cloud networking – AWS, Azure or GCP
• Multicast and/or low-latency networking
• Python, Ansible or other network automation experience
• Exposure to AIOps tooling

Location & Working Pattern:

• London, Moorgate
• Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

Salary: 

• Up to £100k base salary + bonus
