The ideal candidate will manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the university's core and data centre network infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard, and will configure and maintain F5 devices to support application delivery and load balancing. The role also involves administering Juniper networking equipment alongside Cisco environments, ensuring consistent configuration standards and security compliance across the network estate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the university's core and data centre network infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard, ensuring high availability and performance across all connected services.
• Configure, maintain, and optimise F5 devices (e.g. BIG-IP) to support secure, reliable application delivery, traffic management, and load balancing for university systems and services.
• Administer and maintain Juniper networking equipment alongside Cisco environments, ensuring consistent configuration standards, security compliance, and smooth integration across the wider network estate.
