This role focuses on advanced spine-leaf data center networking across AI and HPC environments using EVPN/VXLAN, SRv6, IPv6, and automation technologies. The successful candidate will help shape network architecture, scalability, and engineering standards within a rapidly expanding technical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and support large scale data center network fabrics
  • Build and maintain EVPN/VXLAN spine leaf architectures
  • Support SRv6 and modern routing technologies across high performance environments
  • Troubleshoot complex network performance and stability issues
  • Work closely with systems, hardware and platform engineering teams on integrated infrastructure solutions
  • Support network automation and infrastructure as code initiatives
  • Participate in capacity planning, scalability and network optimisation projects
  • Contribute to network standards, documentation and operational best practices
  • Support new data center deployments, migrations and expansion projects
  • Act as an escalation point for critical network incidents and complex troubleshooting


Skills/Must have:

  • Strong experience within data center or service provider networking environments
  • Hands on experience with EVPN/VXLAN fabrics
  • Experience with SRv6 or strong exposure to modern routing technologies
  • Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, IPv6 and underlay/overlay networking
  • Experience working in high availability, low latency infrastructure environments
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Python, Ansible or Terraform
  • Experience with Linux based systems and network troubleshooting
  • Background within AI infrastructure, HPC, cloud, ISP, hosting, colo or hyperscale environments is highly beneficial
  • Experience with vendors such as Juniper, Arista or Cisco
