Network Engineer - Internet Service Provider

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructures for a range of customer environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco-based networking solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Plan and deliver firewall migration projects, including deployments and migrations involving Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues while providing a high level of technical expertise.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored networking solutions.
• Travel throughout the Randstad area to support customer projects when required.

Skills/Must Have

• Experience working within an enterprise networking environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience delivering firewall migration, using Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Active CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers (Dutch fluent is optimal).
• Willingness to travel across the Randstad area.

Nice to Have

• Experience with network automation using Python and/or Ansible.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation and network scripting.
• Experience working across multiple customer environments or within a systems integrator/MSP.

Salary

• €6,000 - €8,000
