Responsibilities:

• Contribute To The Design And Architecture Of Network Solutions Across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN And Data Centre Networking
• Select Suitable Network Technologies To Optimise Infrastructure And Support Capacity Planning
• Help Define Network Standards, Security Policies And Best Practice Across The Business
• Install, Configure And Maintain Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers And VPNs
• Implement Security Measures Including Firewalls, IDS/IPS And Network Access Control
• Deliver Network Redundancy And High Availability Solutions
• Integrate Networks With Cloud Platforms Including Azure, AWS And Google Cloud
• Monitor Network Performance And Lead Troubleshooting And Fault Analysis
• Support Network Automation Initiatives Using Tools Such As Ansible, Python Or Terraform
• Coordinate With Internal IT Teams And External Vendors On Projects And Incidents
• Support The Development And Mentoring Of Junior Network Engineers

Skills/Must Have:

• Proven Experience As A Network Engineer, Ideally Within A Systems House Or MSP Environment
• Strong Working Knowledge Of Cisco And Juniper Networking Technologies
• Hands On Experience With Fortinet Or Palo Alto Network Security Engineering
• Solid Background In Network Support And Operations
• Strong Understanding Of IP Routing Protocols Including BGP And OSPF
• Fluent German Language Skills, Written And Spoken

Desirable Skills:

• Juniper Certification Such As JNCIA Or JNCIP
• Exposure To Network Automation Tooling And Scripting
• Experience With Data Centre Networking, Including VXLAN
