Looking for a role with plenty of growth opportunities?
Join a leading UK broadcast and satellite media technology provider, part of a major international telecommunications group, delivering resilient and secure network infrastructure for hundreds of live television channels, internet, and private customer networks. The organisation is currently undertaking a major IP migration, modernising legacy broadcast technology onto carrier-grade infrastructure.
The role offers hands-on ownership of a live IP migration project, with exposure across the full network stack, alongside the opportunity to work within a stable, collaborative team of around seven. The position provides a global network footprint across UK and French operations, hybrid working with two days in the office and three from home, and currently has no on-call requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate core network architecture supporting carrier-grade, multi-site infrastructure carrying live broadcast, internet and private customer traffic
- Lead and support a major IP migration project, moving legacy broadcast technology onto current-generation infrastructure
- Manage, operate and improve the multisite network for multicast TV transport as well as the internal campus network
- Design and support customer networking solutions across multiple sites, including remote access
- Own network security and firewall configuration in a fast-changing environment
- Split time roughly 50/50 between project work and BAU: ticket resolution, solution specification and materials/billing documentation, shared across the wider team
- Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including complex diagrams
- Manage and operate the organisation's network monitoring systems (NMS)
Skills/Must Have:
- Experience: 5+ years' hands-on experience supporting a multi-site, enterprise-grade network environment

- Soft Skills: Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and within a small team; strong troubleshooting instincts, clear communicator, commercially aware when engaging with customers
Desirable Skills:
- Multicast experience (SSM/ASM) in Layer 2/3 environments
- Broadcast or media-over-IP background
- Cisco IP Fabric for Media (IPFM) experience
- Net Insight Nimbra experience
- CCNP certification (or working towards)
Benefits:
- Up to 10% annual bonus
- 25 days annual leave
- Pension
- Private medical insurance and life insurance
- Hybrid working (2 days office / 3 days home)
Salary:
- Up to £65,000 base + up to 10% bonus.
