Responsibilities:

  • Test networking and telecoms equipment to confirm functionality prior to deployment
  • Carry out basic upgrades and software updates across a range of platforms
  • Pre-stage and pre-configure equipment ahead of customer installation
  • Set up and manage remote access for customer sites
  • Support occasional installations and decommissions within data centre environments
  • Provide first-line troubleshooting support across a mixed vendor estate


Skills/Must Have:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years in a network engineering or technical support role
  • Core Tech/Domain: Practical exposure to Cisco and/or Juniper platforms (not both required)
  • Methodology/Protocols: General familiarity with major networking and data centre equipment brands
  • Soft Skills: Solid troubleshooting instincts, willingness to learn, and comfort working within a small, close-knit onsite team


Desirable Skills:

  • Basic server administration experience
  • Exposure to Arista, Nokia, or Ericsson equipment
  • Relevant certifications already achieved, CCNA is viewed as a strong benchmark
