Responsibilities:

• Ensure stable, secure network operations for customers across their international sites, working closely with the wider team
• Lead customers confidently through incidents, coordinating carriers and manufacturers and keeping control of the situation
• Proactively identify and prevent issues before they escalate, keeping customers informed throughout
• Optimise, automate, and document as part of day-to-day operations

Skills/Must have:

• Several years' hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting complex network environments — campus, data centre, or WAN
• A strong foundation in Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP-level knowledge is a helpful guide, not a requirement) plus experience with Cisco Meraki — practical know-how matters more than certification
• Familiarity with WAN and SD-WAN technologies (e.g. Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela, IPSec VPN, BGP, QoS) — depth in these areas will be built on the job through vendor training and a team with 20+ years of global WAN experience
• A structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting — working systematically to root cause rather than guessing
• Confident communication with customers, carriers, and manufacturers, including under pressure
• An open, curious mindset with a drive to keep improving both yourself and the technology you work with
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written

Salary:

• €60,000 - €70,000
