Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 support across network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues from tickets, alerts, and customer escalations
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve network outages across fiber and wireless environments
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, microwave radios, and wireless equipment
- Carry out field deployments including cabling, testing, and hardware installation across network sites
- Support and maintain microwave backhaul systems including alignment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required
- Maintain accurate network documentation, asset tracking, and system records
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery
- Provide basic end-user support and training where required
Skills/Must have:
- 5–7 years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Strong troubleshooting experience in ISP or carrier-grade environments
- Experience with Cisco and/or Ubiquiti networking equipment
- Hands-on experience with microwave radio systems (Cambium, Ubiquiti airFiber, Siklu or similar)
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols
- Experience working with fiber and wireless backhaul infrastructure
- Ability to work in the field including climbing ladders and working at heights
- CCNP certification preferred
- VoIP experience is beneficial
