Network Engineers / Network Consultants - Cisco Gold Partner

A leading global Cisco Gold Partner is supporting a large-scale infrastructure transformation programme across multiple enterprise environments within the energy sector.

As part of a long-term modernisation initiative, they are looking to hire several Network Engineers and Network Consultants to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of critical network infrastructure across Scotland. This programme offers the opportunity to work on complex enterprise environments, utilising a wide range of Cisco technologies across routing, switching, security, wireless, and data centre networking.

Role Details:

The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting network transformation projects across multiple enterprise environments, contributing to the implementation, support, and optimisation of network infrastructure.

Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include both hands-on implementation work and higher-level network consultancy and design activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of large-scale network transformation projects
•  Implement and support Cisco routing and switching infrastructure
• Assist with network migrations, upgrades, and optimisation projects
• Support enterprise wireless, security, and SD-WAN environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and customer stakeholders
• Contribute to network documentation and technical best practices
• Support data centre and cloud networking initiatives where required

Skills Required:

• Essential:
  • Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching
  • Experience within network implementation and/or network design
  • Strong troubleshooting and enterprise networking experience
    
  • Desirable:
    Cisco ISR & ASR Routers
    Cisco HyperFlex and UCSx
    Cisco ASA Firewalls & FirePOWER
    Nexus technologies including VPC and VDC
    Cisco Wireless technologies including 9800 Series WLCs
    Cisco Meraki
    Cisco ISE
    Cisco ACI
    SD-WAN, DNAC, and Prime Infrastructure
    IPSec VPN technologies
    Cloud networking experience across Azure and AWS
    Palo Alto Firewalls
    Cisco DevNet APIs / SDKs
    Experience with HP and Aruba technologies

• Duration: 
  • 6 Months Initially
• Day Rate:
  • £400 per day – Network Implementation Engineers
  • £450 per day – Network Consultant Engineers
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
