Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and optimise the IDS/IPS environment.
• Improve network detection, prevention and threat visibility across production infrastructure.
• Work closely with Network and Security Engineering teams to strengthen platform security.
• Tune detection rules and reduce false positives while improving threat coverage.
• Secure large-scale on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
• Help define the future direction of network security across a rapidly expanding cloud platform.

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong experience in Network Security engineering.
• Hands-on IDS/IPS design, deployment and tuning experience.
• Experience securing on-premises or hybrid cloud environments.
• Background working for cloud providers, hosting companies, ISPs or organisations operating their own infrastructure.
• Good understanding of network protocols, routing and large-scale production environments.
• Mid to senior level experience (vendor agnostic).

Salary:

• Up to £110,000 depending on experience
