Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the full data center infrastructure, power, cooling, building services, network, security systems and access control
- Carry out and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and support fault/technical issue resolution
- Analyse and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the NOC and internal/external partners
- Deliver customer installations, environment expansions and remote hands services
- Support technical work on infrastructure components such as racks, cabling, cold aisle containment and facility systems
- Manage and supervise external service providers, ensuring professional standards
- Maintain technical documentation and asset records, supporting audits and compliance
- Identify and implement improvements to operations, processes and infrastructure
- Participate in the on-site on-call rota
Skills/Must Have:
- Completed technical training, preferably in electrical engineering
- Experience with critical technical infrastructure, ideally in a data center, telecoms or building services environment
- Solid knowledge in at least one relevant area, electrical engineering, HVAC or network technology
- Hands-on approach and genuine interest in complex infrastructure
- Independent, solution-oriented working style with strong teamwork skills
- Customer-focused mindset and strong sense of responsibility
- Good command of German and English; French an advantage
- Willingness to undertake further training (e.g. power switching authorisation)
- Category B driving licence
