The company is looking for an experienced Permit Manager to support fibre infrastructure projects by overseeing permitting and regulatory activities across multiple jurisdictions. The role works closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to secure approvals, maintain compliance, and keep deployments on schedule throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, prepare, submit, and administer permitting applications, including utility pole attachments and work within state and local rights-of-way.
  • Request, track, and record payment of permit fees internally and with vendor partners.
  • Track and report high-volume permit statuses on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Enter and maintain accurate permitting data in company systems, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Monitor progress of pole attachment and municipal permit applications and coordinate responses to jurisdictional requests for additional information.
  • Collaborate with vendor design teams to facilitate permit drawings and construction documents for nodes, power, and outside plant construction.
  • Provide timely system updates and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate permit progress, risks, and delays throughout the full permit lifecycle.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams to obtain approvals, administer permits, and ensure compliance with permit conditions during permitting and construction phases.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong experience working in multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional permitting environments.
  • Familiarity with zoning and permitting regulations
