This company is seeking its first full-time Product Designer to establish and lead the design function from the ground up. The role offers end-to-end ownership of the product design experience, with the opportunity to define design standards, influence product direction, and build the foundations of the design organisation as the company grows.

Responsibilities:

• You will be owning end-to-end product design, taking problems from research through to shipped UI and pairing with engineers through implementation
• You will be taking over an existing design system and maturing it -  tokens, components, and patterns built for dense, data-rich surfaces: capacity tables, billing views, cluster and job dashboards
• You will be owning the full developer experience -  console, dashboards, onboarding, docs, and terminal surfaces — with a focus on cutting time from signup to first running workload
• You will be setting the visual language, interaction patterns, and quality bar for the whole product
• You will be running design critique and, as the team grows, helping to hire and build out the design function

Skills / Must Have:

• 5+ years designing software, with recent work on developer tools, infrastructure, or technical B2B products
• A portfolio of dense, data-rich UIs built for expert users - consoles, dashboards, tables, logs; information density over whitespace
• You will have built a design system, or shipped major contributions to on - not just consumed one
• You will be comfortable going from a rough idea to high-fidelity product independently, in ambiguity, without waiting for a complete brief

Salary:

• $300,000 base salary
