The organization is currently on the lookout for a Field and Project Engineer to support a mixed telecoms infrastructure environment spanning sites across the South of the UK and into France. The ideal candidate will work on an initial 6-month engagement with strong potential to extend based on project progress.

Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on field engineering support across UK and French sites, ensuring operational continuity as new infrastructure is brought online
- Support project management activity relating to 4G network infrastructure
- Carry out HVAC-related diagnostics, configuration, and monitoring via laptop-based tools
- Perform HVAC splicing work as required
- Support submarine fibre optic infrastructure, installation, testing, and/or maintenance
- Deliver fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) work across relevant sites
- Split time effectively between onsite delivery and desk-based planning/reporting/coordination
- Liaise with UK and French site teams/stakeholders to keep the wider project on track
Skills/Must Have:
- Proven field engineering background within telecoms, ideally spanning both networks and physical infrastructure (HVAC, fibre)
- Practical experience with submarine fibre optics and FTTP is highly desirable
- Comfortable working across UK and international (French) sites; own transport/flexibility for travel
- Able to commit 3–4 days/week for the initial 6-month term
