The company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of landmark data center and mission-critical facilities projects. This role combines technical engineering, project leadership, and client management, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and architects while overseeing design quality, project schedules, budgets, staffing, and end-to-end project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the firm in all interactions with critical facilities/data center clients, contractors, architects, and project team members
  • Provide trade-specific system design, layout (CAD/BIM), calculations, and related design services
  • Coordinate with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering, internal and external)
  • Establish system application, design, and operational parameters/sequences with senior technical staff
  • Participate in, ensure, and oversee the QA/QC process for your own work and the work of others
  • Collaborate with senior staff on project scheduling, staffing requirements, and budgets
  • Perform construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and detailed reports
  • Process RFIs, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda
  • Manage CAD/BIM and other technical staff assigned to a project or task
  • Write engineering proposals, estimate construction costs (ROM), and assist with employee reviews
  • Participate in trade organizations and prepare presentations


Skills / Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • PE licensure (required)
  • 8+ to 12+ years' experience in a consulting firm
  • 4+ years' supervisory experience managing project teams and client liaison
  • REVIT and latest version of AutoCAD-MEP experience
  • Ability to prepare red-line markups, read and evaluate floor plans/sections/elevations, and visualize 3D building space
  • Expertise in trade-specific design and calculation software, with the ability to make proper system selections
  • Thorough understanding of applicable codes and the work of other trades
  • Knowledge of SKM Software and the ability to perform Short Circuit coordination and Arc Flash studies (highly preferred)
