Responsibilities:
- Manage telecommunications infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion
- Coordinate fibre testing, validation, deployment, and implementation activities across multiple project phases
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements
- Coordinate engineering, operations, field services, and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution
- Manage project reporting, governance, status updates, and executive communications
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and delivery challenges
- Support ongoing deployment activities as projects transition from testing into production environments
Skills/Must Have:
- 5–10 years of experience delivering telecommunications infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, from planning through to delivery and handover
- Background within telecommunications, carrier, service provider, network vendor, or infrastructure environments
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
- Experience coordinating engineering and operational teams across multiple workstreams
- Understanding of fibre, optical transport, transmission, DWDM, IP/MPLS, or related network infrastructure technologies would be highly advantageous
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certifications are beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication, organisation, and project governance skills
