This company is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead complex estimating activities across large-scale hyperscale, colocation, industrial, and mission-critical projects. The role involves managing the full preconstruction process, from take-offs through to bid hand-off, while collaborating with engineers, project managers, vendors, customers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activity relationships, constraints, and milestones
  • Incorporate labor, equipment, material, and resource loading into schedules
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and recovery strategies
  • Evaluate actual project progress and provide regular schedule updates to stakeholders
  • Support claims and dispute resolution with schedule documentation and analysis
  • Participate in weekly schedule update meetings with project stakeholders
  • Export and manage schedule data between Primavera P6 and Smartsheet platforms
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews of schedule submissions


Skills/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Project scheduling experience within electrical, industrial, or mission critical construction
  • Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6
  • Experience with Smartsheet and other construction planning tools preferred
  • Strong understanding of resource loading, earned value management, and forensic schedule analysis
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mission critical project experience highly desirable
  • Electrical contractor experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling risks, and project controls
  • Knowledge of AACE, PMI, claims processes, and contractual requirements preferred
