Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Join a specialist communications engineering business with more than 35 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing mission-critical communications ecosystems for the UK's most demanding operations, from airports and stadiums to industrial sites and corporate estates.

This company is looking for an RF/Communications Engineer with a DMR/PMR background to join its growing team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will split their time across practical on-site engineering work and workshop-based activity, with this hire reflecting genuine business growth rather than a backfill. The client is open on seniority, considering candidates from junior through to senior level, with transferable RF engineering backgrounds also encouraged to apply.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out field and bench-based engineering work across DMR/PMR systems and associated communications equipment
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis activities
  • Contributing to workshop-based repair and testing work alongside field deployments
  • Working to a high technical standard across a varied portfolio of communications engineering tasks

Skills/Must Have:

  • DMR/PMR engineering experience - the primary technical requirement for this role
  • Practical field and bench engineering capability
  • Based within commutable distance of Redditch or Gatwick - the role is fully on site five days per week

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience across broader RF disciplines - HF, UHF, VHF, DAS, 5G, or WiFi backgrounds are all considered transferable and welcomed
  • Senior-level candidates with wider communications engineering experience are actively encouraged to apply

Benefits:

  • Variety of field and bench-based work - not a purely office or purely field role
  • Growth-driven hire within an established and expanding communications engineering business
  • Permanent position with a well-regarded employer in the sector

Salary:

  • £28,000 - £60,000 salary dependent on experience and seniority
