This consulting firm is seeking a Red Team Tester / Operator to deliver offensive security engagements that simulate real-world adversaries across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role involves designing and executing attack scenarios, identifying security weaknesses, and helping clients strengthen their defensive posture. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with creative exploitation techniques, working both independently and as part of a collaborative red team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute red team operations and adversary emulation scenarios
  • Conduct reconnaissance, vulnerability research, exploitation, and post-exploitation activities
  • Develop custom tooling, payloads, and tradecraft to bypass modern security controls
  • Perform Active Directory attacks, lateral movement, privilege escalation, and persistence techniques
  • Simulate real-world threat actor behaviours aligned to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
  • Collaborate with blue teams and stakeholders during controlled engagements
  • Produce high-quality technical and executive reporting, including remediation guidance
  • Contribute to internal research, capability development, and knowledge sharing


Skills/Must have:

  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux internals
  • Proven experience in penetration testing or red teaming environments
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory attack paths and common misconfigurations
  • Experience with scripting or development in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with common offensive security tools and frameworks
  • Understanding of network protocols and security controls (EDR, SIEM, AV evasion)
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt tactics in dynamic environments
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
