This is a great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the client's service team, supporting both pre- and post-sales activities with scope for UK-wide and occasional international travel. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in commissioning systems, conducting Factory Acceptance Testing, and monitoring and supporting stadium systems across the UK, while working closely with the systems engineering team on design and implementation projects. The role also involves delivering training and technical support to operators and clients, with clear opportunities to progress into systems engineering, R&D, or managerial positions over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Traveling to customer sites for commissioning and support, with occasional international travel (typically up to 2 weeks at a time every other month)
  • Monitoring and supporting stadium systems across the UK.
  • Collaborating with the systems engineering team on design and implementation projects.
  • Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) for system deployments.
  • Providing training and technical support to operators and clients.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, adept at handling challenging situations.
  • Basic RF knowledge, including one or more of power dBm, spectrum analyser operation, signal generator use, and understanding of cabling and antenna types.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.


Desirable Skills:

  • Rigging experience
  • IT/Networking skills, including IP addressing and router setups
  • SC Clearance is highly desirable but not mandatory
