This company is seeking an RF and Satcom Engineer to join its experienced UK team in a broad, hands-on technical role. The position involves working across satellite communications, networking, cloud infrastructure, and bespoke communications systems while engaging directly with customers and adapting to a wide range of technical and operational requirements. It is well suited to an engineer with a strong generalist background, excellent customer-facing skills, and the flexibility to work across multiple technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Providing hands-on technical support across satcom, networking, and cloud workstreams
- Supporting field demonstrations and customer-facing technical engagements in the UK and internationally
- Deploying and managing AWS Linux instances, configuring DNS, building tunnels, and pulling logs as required
- Supporting configuration and troubleshooting of SD-WAN and Peplink solutions
- Working with a range of satellite platforms including KU GEO, Iridium, OneWeb, and Starlink
- Travelling to customer sites in the UK and internationally as required
Skills/Must Have:
- Solid RF and satcom fundamentals across a range of platforms and technologies
- Networking experience - SD-WAN, Peplink, and MPLS
- Hands-on AWS experience: Linux instance deployment and management, tunnel configuration, DNS, and log analysis. Practical working knowledge required, not architect-level
- Confident, customer-facing communication style - able to present and problem-solve directly with senior military and government stakeholders
- Comfortable with UK and international travel as a core part of the role
Desirable Skills:
- Ex-military background, particularly Royal Signals or equivalent communications specialism
- Hands-on experience with Iridium, OneWeb, Starlink, or BGAN systems
- Familiarity with zero-trust networking or data-sovereign communications environments
- Experience with situational awareness platforms or eTAC systems
- Exposure to bespoke hardware or tracking device support
