This company is looking for a Runtime SME to design and lead the systems responsible for scheduling and managing workloads across its chips. This role will focus on the core runtime layer that connects the platform and maximizes the efficiency and performance of the underlying hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Build and own the runtime layer responsible for scheduling workloads across multiple Apple Silicon chips
• Design systems for managing compute resources dynamically, handling concurrency, prioritisation, and fault tolerance
• Ensure efficient utilisation of hardware resources across the full stack
• Work with the networking and kernels teams to ensure the runtime integrates tightly with the layers above and below it

Skills/Must Have:

• Experience building or working on runtime systems, schedulers, or orchestration layers
• Strong understanding of concurrent and distributed systems
• Familiarity with hardware-aware scheduling, resource management, or compute orchestration
• Nice to have: experience with AI infrastructure, ML frameworks, or cloud compute environments

Salary:

• $250,000 Base Salary
