Safety Coordinator - Telecommunications

Responsibilities:

• Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations in a timely manner and present root cause findings to the Safety Committee
• Review and approve daily safety paperwork from jobsites
• Assist with new hire safety orientations and ongoing field technician training
• Support compliance with regulatory training requirements
• Maintain PPE and safety equipment inventory alongside the Inventory Coordinator
• Assist the Safety & Training Manager with the safe driver and competent person programs
• Serve on the Safety Committee and collaborate with leadership to uphold the company's safety culture

Skills / Must Haves:

• 2+ years' experience in a construction, utility, or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma (CSP certification a plus)
