The ideal candidate comes from a VAR, MSP, MSSP, or systems integrator background, understands partner-led sales models, and has a strong network across Fortinet field teams, distribution partners, and regional sales leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic channel sales plan to expand revenue through the Fortinet partner ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Fortinet channel account managers, regional sales teams, and distribution partners
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within enterprise, commercial, and mid-market accounts
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and leadership teams to position Fortinet security solutions effectively
  • Drive partner-led pipeline generation through joint account planning and co-selling initiatives
  • Manage partner enablement activities, training alignment, and sales engagement strategies
  • Track pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently achieve or exceed quota targets
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and Fortinet for channel alignment and growth initiatives
  • Stay current on Fortinet product offerings, programs, and competitive market trends


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of channel sales experience in cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure
  • Previous experience working for a Fortinet partner, reseller, or managed services provider
  • Established relationships within the Fortinet channel organization
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a partner-led sales model
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and network security technologies
  • Experience managing strategic vendor relationships and joint sales initiatives
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and leadership teams


Desirable Skills:

  • Existing relationships with Fortinet regional leadership or channel managers
  • Experience selling complementary security solutions alongside Fortinet
  • Knowledge of enterprise security architecture and managed security services
  • Familiarity with distribution partners and channel incentive programs
