This consultancy has partnered with a leading energy infrastructure organisation and is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a high-performing Agile delivery team. The role involves driving Agile best practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching cross-functional teams, removing delivery impediments, and collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and senior stakeholders to deliver innovative digital and data solutions within a SAFe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate PI Planning events, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Prepare Agile teams for Programme Increment (PI) Planning and support Release Train activities
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe best practices
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure a prioritised, refined, and delivery-ready backlog
  • Identify, manage, and remove risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments
  • Track team progress using Agile metrics and continuously improve delivery performance
  • Support collaboration across multiple teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery
  • Promote DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages psychological safety and continuous improvement
  • Support Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies and Coach Sync activities


Skills/Must Have:

  • Scrum Master certification (PSM I/II, CSM, or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Scrum Master supporting technology teams delivering digital or data products
  • Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies within cross-functional delivery teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to improve team performance, delivery flow, and Agile maturity
  • Experience using Agile metrics and reporting tools to support data-driven decision making
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
  • Experience working within Matrix organisations and distributed/onshore-offshore teams


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working within regulated or enterprise-scale environments
  • Exposure to digital transformation or data-driven programmes
  • Ability to support wider delivery activities including product, quality assurance, automation, or design where required
  • Experience mobilising new Agile teams and supporting organisational change


Location & Working Pattern:

  • Hybrid 3x a week in Warwick
