The well-established MSP is looking to bring on a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer with deep expertise across Purview, Intune, and the broader M365 security stack. This is a high-impact role focused on security, compliance, data governance, and endpoint management, with additional exposure to identity and collaboration initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Microsoft Purview - Security, Compliance & Governance
  • Lead implementation and management of Purview (DLP, eDiscovery, Compliance Manager, Sensitivity Labels, Retention)
  • Define and enforce data protection and classification policies across M365 workloads
  • Support audits, legal holds, and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Maintain and validate configurations through migrations and ongoing operations
• Microsoft Intune - Endpoint Management
  • Architect and manage enterprise Intune environments
  • Implement device compliance, security baselines, and application lifecycle management
  • Deploy Windows Autopilot for modern provisioning
  • Integrate Conditional Access and Zero Trust security controls
• Identity & Access Management
  • Configure and migrate Entra ID (Azure AD) environments
  • Implement MFA, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection
  • Support hybrid identity and AD synchronization
  • Deploy SSO and passwordless authentication solutions
• Microsoft Teams & Collaboration
  • Lead migrations from platforms like Slack into Teams
  • Support Teams Voice and tenant consolidations
  • Ensure secure and compliant collaboration environments
• Support & Delivery
  • Troubleshoot complex M365 issues across security, identity, and endpoint domains
  • Deliver clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Partner with business and technical teams to align solutions with requirements
• Governance, DR & Adoption
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Build governance frameworks across M365 services
  • Drive user adoption and training initiatives

Skills/Must have:

• 5+ years delivering Microsoft 365 solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Purview, Intune, and M365 security tools
• Expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Solid background in Identity & Access Management
• Experience with M365 migrations and hybrid environments
• PowerShell scripting for automation
