Working alongside project management, BIM, scheduling, and construction teams, the role focuses on managing complex MEP packages while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, benchmarking analysis, BOQs, and tender documentation
  • Evaluate tender returns and provide commercial recommendation reports
  • Proactively manage change management, assessing scope changes and their cost/programme impacts
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, valuations, and earned value analysis for MEP packages
  • Conduct quantity take-offs using BIM-enabled software and digital construction tools
  • Oversee contractor final accounts and maintain accurate commercial records
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across commercial, project delivery, and construction functions
  • Monitor contractor insurances, warranties, and compliance requirements


Skills/Must Have:

  • 5+ years post-qualification experience in MEP Quantity Surveying
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems within Data Centre or Mission Critical construction
  • Proven experience in cost control, procurement, forecasting, and subcontractor management
  • Contract administration knowledge and strong commercial awareness
  • Proficiency in QS software (CostX, Cubit, or equivalent)
  • Experience with BIM-enabled workflows and digital construction tools
